Summary:Circuits delivering IP service to M5 failed or experienced errors. As a result, a subset of on-net clients may have experienced dropped calls and/or loss of internet connectivity while switching automatically to a backup connection. Clients without backup connectivity lose all voice and data service during such an incident. However, inbound calling to applications such as voicemail and auto-attendants.
Update 1: M5 Network engineers have isolated the issue to be with T1 serial interfaces falling into a bad state. We would like to recommend if customers experience any loss in connectivity that they try rebooting their M5 router to help regain connectivity.
Update 2: M5 Engineers are continuing to restart T1 serial interfaces to help them regain connectivity. M5 Engineers are continuing to investigate root cause of issue.
Update 3: M5 Engineers have isolated the issue to be residule effect from this morning maintenance, customers routers may need to be restarted to help the circuits regain connectivity
